This outstanding example has undergone a comprehensive restoration, beginning with a full strip down to bare metal before being professionally refinished to an exceptional standard. Every stage of the rebuild was completed with great care and attention to originality, resulting in a car that presents as close to factory fresh as possible.

The engine has been fully rebuilt by a professional classic car specialist using new components throughout, while the gearbox has also been completely rebuilt by a dedicated Mercedes-Benz transmission specialist. As part of what can only be described as a true nut-and-bolt restoration, all serviceable and removable components were either replaced or refurbished to the highest standard.

The suspension system has been entirely renewed, including new shock absorbers, coil springs and ball joints, ensuring the car drives every bit as well as it looks. Further work includes a new battery, replacement filters throughout, and fully refurbished wheels fitted with brand new tyres, including the spare.

Inside, the cabin retains the timeless elegance expected of a classic Mercedes-Benz coupe while presenting in superb condition. The interior has been fully refurbished, including brand new carpets manufactured to the original specification. The wood trim has been carefully cleaned, treated and waxed before reinstallation, and all chrome elements have been professionally polished. Even the original factory decals have been correctly reinstated within the engine bay, highlighting the level of detail involved in the restoration.

Now registered as a historic vehicle, the car benefits from MOT exemption and zero road tax.
